Glossary
Watts indicates the consumption of electricity. For easier
comparison, refer to "depression" and " flow
rate".
Measures the mechanical weight onto a square metre. It is
either expressed in Pascal, in millimetres (in a water column),
or in millibars.
It is a zone where a vacuum is created and it expresses the
real force of suction.
1 mbar = 10 mm h2o = 100 pascals
Volume of air expressed in litres/second or in cubic metres/hour.
It is in fact, the measurement of air movement.
220 V motors: up to 3 hours constant use , 6 hours intermittent
use.
380 V motors: 24H/24H
Stainless steel tanks are recommended for vacuuming all greasy
or messy products (tanks easy to clean).
Consider using polypropylene tanks for vacuuming all acid
products.
Our vacuum cleaners are supplied with filters which protect
the motors. With very fine dust, these filters may clog up.
We delay this clogging effect by supplying the vacuum cleaner
with a nylon over filter or a paper bag.
In the case of very fine dust, consider the model 429M which
has a third unclogging motor or even one of our cyclone tanks.
(ask us for further details).
Our filters : Cotton and polyester filters from 1 to 3 microns.
Nylon filters from 0.6 to 0.8 microns.
The HEPA 'absolute' filters at 0.2 microns.(ask us for details).
Over 200m2 consider our fixed suckers which are fixed in
front of all trolley-mounted vacuums. (It is pushed while
vacuuming like a lawnmower).
For important or heavy volumes , consider our easy to empty
rocking tanks.
If you have a lot of liquid to suck up consider our back draught
vacuum 429 CPLB SUB.
